Plagiarisme Policy
Fathana: Jurnal Psikologi Ar-Raniry upholds the highest standards of academic integrity and strictly prohibits all forms of plagiarism.
- Definition of Plagiarism
Plagiarism includes, but is not limited to: - Copying text, ideas, data, or figures from other sources without proper citation.
- Self-plagiarism, i.e., reusing substantial parts of one’s own previously published work without disclosure or acknowledgment.
- Paraphrasing others’ work without adequate attribution.
- Screening Procedure
- All submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism using plagiarism detection software.
- Manuscripts with a similarity index of more than 20% (excluding references) may be returned to the authors for revision or directly rejected, depending on the severity of the overlap.
- Consequences of Plagiarism
- If plagiarism is detected before publication, the manuscript will be rejected.
- If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the article may be retracted, and appropriate sanctions may be applied to the author(s), including restrictions on future submissions.
- Author’s Responsibility
- Authors must ensure that their work is original, properly cites all sources, and complies with ethical standards in academic writing.
- Editorial Rights
- The editorial team reserves the right to check, investigate, and decide on cases of suspected plagiarism, and their decision is final.
