Peer Review Policy
All manuscripts submitted to Fathana: Jurnal Psikologi Ar-Raniry undergo a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific contribution of the publication.
- Initial Screening
- The editorial team conducts a preliminary evaluation of each submission to assess its relevance to the journal’s scope, adherence to author guidelines, and overall academic quality.
- Manuscripts that do not meet the basic requirements may be returned to the authors without review.
- Double-Blind Review Process
- Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers who are experts in the relevant field.
- Both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous to ensure an objective and unbiased evaluation.
- Review Criteria
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on: - Originality and novelty of the research.
- Clarity of objectives and problem formulation.
- Theoretical foundation and literature review.
- Methodological rigor and appropriateness of analysis.
- Quality of discussion, interpretation, and conclusion.
- Contribution to the development of psychology and related fields.
- Editorial Decision
- Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor may decide to: accept, accept with minor revisions, request major revisions, or reject the manuscript.
- Authors are expected to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers’ comments and resubmit within the given timeframe.
- Final Approval
- The final decision regarding acceptance or rejection rests with the Editor-in-Chief, considering the reviewers’ feedback and the overall quality of the manuscript.
